Who is Ekalvya?

Ekalavya is one of the characters in the Great Indian Epic, Mahabharata (महाभारत). He was a great archer and even believed to have bettered Arjuna in Archery. Ekalavya was an ardent follower and loyalist of Guru Dronacharya. He severed his own right hand thumb and gave Dronacharya as Guru Dakshina.
