Ekalavya is one of the characters in the Great Indian Epic, Mahabharata (महाभारत). Ekalavya was a great archer and is even believed to have bettered Arjuna in Archery. He was an ardent follower and loyalist of Guru Dronacharya. He severed his right-hand thumb and gave Dronacharya as Guru Dakshina.
