Respect Each other’s Sovereignty, PM Modi tells at SCO Meet
PM Narendra Modi attended the shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Meet on Tuesday, 10-11-2020 virtually, with Chinese president Chinese Xi Jinping, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and all SCO member states leaders to discuss the solutions to overcome the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rising menace of terrorism among other important issues.
Besides 8 SCO member state leaders, the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the SCO Secretary-General Rashid Alimov, four observer states attended the meet.
In the meet, Prime minister Modi said that India has stronger cultural ties with all the SCO countries. To enhance the relationship, It is important that we move forward while respecting each other’s sovereignty and territorial Integrity, the PM said. PM Modi has also expressed dissappointment on Islamabad for taking bilateral issues to the Eurasian body, disobeying the SCO charter.
