NEET UG Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Candidate must be 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December 2024 to apply for UG NEET 2024 exam
- A Pass with a minimum of 50% in Class 12 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subject is compulsory to apply for NEET 2024 Exam
- Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) wanting to pursue Undergraduate Medical Courses in a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute also need to qualify for NEET (UG)

Point to remember while uploading Photograph, Signatures and Thumb impression
Passport size Photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb)
Post Card size photograph (4” X6”) (Size: 10 kb to 200 kb)
The candidate should put his full signature in running handwriting [not in the capital letter] on white paper with a Black Ink pen and scan it for uploading.
File size must be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
The candidate should put Left and Right-hand Fingers and Thumb impressions as per the Template provided (Appendix XXVI)
File size must be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
How to Register for NEET UG 2024?
Candidates who wish to apply for NEET 2024 exams, must submit the application form online as soon as possible. For that, do the following procedures
- Visit the NTA-NEET Website
- Click on the ‘New Registration’ tab on the official website of NTA NEET 2024.
- Fill in all the required details such as Your Full Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Contact number, DOB, and email address, etc. and click submit.
- Registration will be completed and you will receive your login credentials (ID and Password).
- Enter your personal details, and choose the exam center, medium, and academic information in the NEET 2024 application form.
- Lastly, upload the required documents, such as passport-sized photographs, academic certificates, category certificates, signatures, thumb impressions, etc., in JPG and PDF formats.
- In the last step, pay the application fee as determined by the National Testing Agency and print a copy of the application.

NEET UG Exam Pattern 2024
The Test pattern of NEET (UG) – 2024 consists of four Subjects. Each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 Questions and Section B will have 15 Questions, out of these 15 Questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 Questions. So, the total number of questions and utilization of time will remain the same.

Do we need to Carry Pen to NEET Exam?
You don’t need to carry Pen, Pencil, Eraser, Ruler or any other stationery to the NEET Exam. You will be given the Pen required for writing the exam in your Exam centre. A black colour pen will be usually provided in the examination centre.
