Jagdeep Dhankar has been elected as the Vice President of India. With the ending of Venkaih Naidu’s tenure as the Vice president, Shri Jagdeep Dhankar is all set to become the new vice President after he’s formally elected in the vice presidential election that happened recently.
Jagdeep Dhankar was born on 18 May 1951 at Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan. He served as a member of parliament from the Jhunjhunu Lok Sabha constituency in Rajasthan during 1989–91 in the 9th Lok Sabha. He was also a former Member of the Legislative Assembly from Kishangarh, Rajasthan during 1993–98 in the 10th Legislative Assembly Rajasthan.
Shri Dhanakar was also served as the Governor of West Bengal between 30 July 2019 to 18 July 2022
