GATE 2024: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Masters’s Program and Recruitment by some Public Sector Companies. GATE Examination is conducted jointly by the seven Indian Institutes of Technology at Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai, Roorkee & Indian Institute of Science at Bengaluru on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.

GATE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Indian nationals and also foreign nationals are eligible to apply for GATE 2024.
Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed graduation in engineering/technology or a Master’s degree in any relevant science subject. Candidates in the pre-final or final year of their qualifying degree are also eligible to appear for GATE 2024 Candidates who have obtained/are pursuing their qualifying degree from countries other than India: Must be currently in the 3rd or higher years or completed their Bachelor’s degree (duration: at least 3 years) in Engineering / Technology / Science / Arts / Commerce.
Age Limit: There is no age limit for GATE 2024

- Upload the required documents, like photographs and signatures.
- Make the payment of GATE exam fees.

GATE 2024 Admit Card – How to download
Following are the step to download the GATE 2024 Admit Cars
- Visit the official website of GATE 2024.
- Log in using your registration number and password.
- Click on the ‘GATE Admit Card’ download link.
- The admit card will be displayed in PDF format.
- Save the admit card and take a printout for further reference.
GATE 2024 Exam Pattern
Candidates must go through the following details regarding the GATE 2024 pattern:

| No. of subjects/ paper | There will be a total of 29 papers/subjects. |
| No. of Sections | There will be two sections in the question paper i.e General Aptitude (GA) & candidate’s selected subjects. |
| Questions Type | The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions. |
| No. of Questions | GA will include 10 questions & candidate’s selected subject will consist of 55 questions. There will be a total of 65 questions in the question paper. |

| Marking Scheme | Questions will consist of 1 mark & 2 marks. |

- Fill in the login details on the portal.
- Click on the submit tab.
- GOAPS candidate dashboard for GATE would open.
- Click on the results section.
- Your GATE Result will be displayed on the screen.
GATE 2024 Counselling
The Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan (CCMT) is Conducted for admission of candidates into IITs and NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and GFTIs. Candiadate will be alloted seats in the counselling session based on their GATE Score.
