1) India test fires Agni-3 nuclear-capable ballistic missile from Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha. The successful test was part of routine user training launches carried out under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command,

2) Ministry of Ayush has formally announced the setting up of an Ayurveda Academic Chair based at Western Sydney University’s NICM Health Research Institute to strengthen international collaborations and promote academic research.

3) The Anamalai Tiger Reserve (ATR) of Tamil Nadu has launched “jumbo trails”, a programme aimed to educate visitors to the tiger reserve about elephants, the flora, and fauna of ATR and the aboriginal tribes who live in the hills.

4) India ranks 61 in Network Readiness Index-2022 (NRI-2022) report, having its score improved from 49.74 in 2021 to 51.19 in 2022.

5) The three-day apex-level regional strategic dialogue of the Indian Navy, the “Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue 2022” (IPRD-2022) began in New Delhi.

6) The Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) in association with the State Government of Jammu & Kashmir will organize the 25th National Conference on e-Governance (NCeG) on 26th – 27th November, 2022 in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir.
The theme of the 25th National e-Governance Conference is “Bringing Citizens, Industry and Government closer”.

7) Former Indian football team captain Babu Mani passed away at the age of 59.
Babu Mani made his India debut against Argentina in Kolkata during the 1984 Nehru Cup and went on to play 55 matches for the country.

8) Jamia Millia Islamia’s (JMI’s) Professor Khalid Jawed has won the prestigious JCB Award for Literature 2022 for his novel ‘Namat Khana’, or ‘The Paradise of Food’.
The novel ‘Namat Khana’ was translated into English as ‘The Paradise of Food’ by Professor Baran Farooqui.

9) The government has given in-principle approval for 95 more ethanol projects under the new window of ethanol interest subvention schemes.
The decision is expected to add an annual ethanol production capacity of around 480 crore litres in the country.

10) Tamil Nadu’s Forest Department has introduced India’s first elephant death audit framework to put in place a more detailed and transparent process for recording and monitoring elephant deaths in the State.

11) UNICEF and National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) have joined hands to promote films with a child rights perspective at the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.

12) Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has been honoured with the Indian Film Personality of the Year Award in the 53rd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
