1) Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the logo, theme and website of India’s G20 presidency.
The logo bears a lotus and the message of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — One Earth, One Family, One Future”
India will assume the presidency of the powerful G20 grouping from the current chair, Indonesia, on December 1, and hold the post for a year.

2) Central Government appointed Justice Rituraj Awasthi, Retired High Court Chief Justice of Karnataka as Chairperson, of the Law Commission of India alongwith five members of the commission.
Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi was Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court from 11 October 2021 to 2 July 2022.

3) Madhya Pradesh education minister Mohan Yadav laid the foundation stone of the world’s first Vedic Clock at the 300-year-old Jiwaji Observatory in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.

4) With a view to step up recovery of inbound tourism to pre-pandemic level, the Ministry of Tourism participated at World Travel Market (WTM) 2022 from November 7-9 in London.
The theme of this year`s exhibition is “The Future of Travel Starts Now”.

5) Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Giriraj Singh unveiled the booklet “Agenda for Members of Panchayati Raj Institutions for Rural Development”.

6) Kishor Kumar Basa, vice-chancellor of Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University in Baripada, has been appointed as the chairman of National Monuments Authority (NMA).

7) Carnatic vocalist, composer, collaborator, humanitarian and speaker Aruna Sairam has been honoured with the French government’s highest honour- Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des award.

8) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar launched the “CM Dashboard” portal that will have real-time data of all departments and decisions taken on major schemes.

9) Top-seeded Indian Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa and compatriot P V Nandhidhaa won the titles in the Open and women’s sections respectively in the Asian Continental Chess championship.

10) National Legal Services Day is observed every year on 9 November to celebrate the commencement of Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 which came into force on this very day in 1995.
This day was established with a mandate to offer support and help to weaker sections of society.

11) Uttar Pradesh Government has announced to make Mathura-Vrindavan a ‘net zero carbon emission’ tourist destination by the year 2041.
This will be the first such carbon-neutral master plan for any tourist destination in India.

11) The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) launched the new AI/ML-based chatbot, “Aadhaar Mitra” for a better resident experience.

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) was Founded on 28 January 2009
Its Headquarters is in New Delhi and comes under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology

12) India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has launched a new testing and evaluation facility for sonar systems of the Indian Navy.
This newly launched facility is named as Hull Module of Submersible Platform for Acoustic Characterisation and Evaluation (SPACE).
